Delete your Yarni account

You can delete your Yarni account and its associated data at any time. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. This page is operated by Yarni Inc.

Delete your account in the app

The fastest way to delete your account is directly from the Yarni app:

  1. Open Yarni and go to your Profile
  2. Tap Settings, then Account
  3. Tap Delete Account and confirm

Request deletion by email

If you can't access the app, request account deletion by email:

  1. Send an email from the address associated with your Yarni account to hi@yarni.app
  2. Use the subject line "Delete my account"
  3. We'll verify your identity and delete your account within 7 business days. You'll receive a confirmation email when it's done.

What we delete

  • Your account details: name, email address, user ID and profile
  • Your reading history, story progress and likes
  • Your chats and any content you created in Yarni

What we retain

  • Transaction records for purchases, kept as required by tax and accounting law
  • Anonymized, aggregated usage statistics that can no longer be linked to you (kept indefinitely)

Note: deleting your Yarni account does not remove your entry from the launch waitlist. To remove it, email us at the address above.
